Terms of Service
These terms govern quotations issued by Daichi Heavy Equipment & Machinerys and orders placed against them.
Quotations
Quotations are issued in writing with a DHM-PI reference and are valid for 14 days from issue unless stated otherwise. Pricing and availability remain subject to final supplier confirmation before funds are committed.
A proforma invoice is issued for quotation and payment-processing purposes and is not a tax invoice.
Payment
- Orders are confirmed by 100% advance payment by bank transfer upon written acceptance of the proforma.
- The Naira equivalent of any USD amount is confirmed in writing on the payment date.
- Procurement begins after cleared funds and final supplier availability confirmation.
Delivery
Estimated delivery is typically 4 to 6 weeks from cleared payment, subject to supplier availability and logistics. Prices include parts, export handling, international freight and delivery to the agreed location. Nigerian import duties or levies, if assessed, are for the buyer's account.
Fitment responsibility
Specifications are provided for identification. The buyer remains responsible for confirming part numbers, dimensions, threads, ports, mounting and application before procurement, and for proper installation after delivery. Cross-reference equivalence does not replace physical fitment validation.
Warranty
Parts are covered by the original seller or distributor warranty: 12 months, 160,000 km (100,000 miles) or 3,600 operating hours, whichever occurs first, with off-highway components covered for 90 days. Damage caused by improper installation, maintenance or service is excluded.
Daichi coordinates the claim process but does not independently expand, replace or approve the supplier's warranty. The supplier's written warranty policy and inspection decision govern each claim.
